Dear Christian,

"Children obey your parents in the Lord." This continues the instruction for wise living (Eph. 5:15), which is knowing and doing the will of the Lord (5:17), which is made possible by the filling of the Holy Spirit (5:18). The Christian walk must be a selfless walk if it is to be genuine and pleasing to the Lord. It is about being subject one to another (5:21). Chapter 6, which will be our focus, will teach us all these valuable truths.
